This is the best book on the Holy Spirit I have ever read. Brilliant!

Your book is really interesting and thought provoking. Your personal anecdotes are are a powerful means of of illustrating the points you make. It is a remarkably strong, and stern, explanation of the subject . The citations you use back up the points you make forcefully. It is exceptionally well researched and, at the same time, engagingly written.
I was greatly informed by reading your book. It is not a topic about which I had previously thought at all deeply. Susan and I discussed it a great deal, in fact we talked about it more than any book we have read. Susan has mentioned it in chats with a Christian friend in the USA and also with a Buddhist friend there.
I am sure it will be recognised as an important book on Christianity and hope it gains the significant sales it merits.

Mr Page has written a powerful book on the Holy Spirit. From who the Holy Spirit is, to what He does and why believers cannot function as true believers without Him, this book tells it all.
I find the author’s practical teachings on how we can be filled and empowered by the Holy Spirit very timely and appropriate in these times when the Church of Christ seems to be paying lip service to the reality and necessity of the Holy Spirit in praying effectively, equipping disciples and birthing revival.
My own personal experience of how the Holy Spirit can empower the believer to speak a language totally foreign to him and understandable to a speaker of that language is a confirmation of many of the truths shared by Arnold in his book.
If you are hungry for more of God, more of His power, presence and presents, this is the resource you need. I wholeheartedly commend this book to you and may you be filled to overflowing with the power of the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus.

This book is the fruit of a life-time of walking with God through the Holy Spirit, and my Uncle has so many powerful testimonies, both from his own experience and those he has met. Though coming from a different theological starting point myself about the role of the Spirit today, I still found the book hugely edifying and it was a very healthy experience to engage with a different viewpoint. This book is rooted in the Scriptures, and though I didn't always find myself agreeing with the conclusions about the meaning of those passages, it was still a great blessing to have to prayerfully wrestle through them. Here you will find many much-needed challenges for today's church, when we are in danger of complacency. It has certainly left me convicted and eager to walk more closely in step with the Spirit, open to what He intends to do in and through me.

I enjoyed reading this book and can highly recommend it. It is a must read for the sceptic but also for those who believe that they have received the Holy Spirit and yet lack the full experience as evidenced in the Acts of the Apostles. So many claim to have received the Holy Spirit, yet lack any real evidence. This book will help them to find what they are searching for.

There are many books out there trying to explain and introduce The Holy Spirit. I have found many to be wordy and overly complicated. Finally, there is a book that is easy to read, flows nicely, and seeks to help the reader find ways to not just get to know the Holy Spirit, but encounter the Holy Spirit. There are eleven chapters that build on each other providing engaging knowledge from the Bible alongside life experiences that make this a must-read. It is hard to believe that contained in a small book (100 pages), that a comprehensive ideology of the Holy Spirit could be so eloquently delivered. Yet Arnold does it so well. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did.
