Z: The Final Generation: Biblical Prophecy Reveals the Date of Christ’s Return by Arnold V Page is a compelling, well-researched book that confronts the reader with truths about the Bible and human history, offering the compelling argument that humankind has almost reached the moment of the ultimate event — the second coming of Christ. The author makes references to historical events and creates a powerful illustration on the curve the world has travelled towards this moment. While the events predicted in this book can be frightening, the book is a timely message of hope for humankind, an invitation to rediscover Jesus and His salvific mission. Z: The Final Generation: Biblical Prophecy Reveals the Date of Christ’s Return features the author’s own story of faith, copious and relevant biblical references, and insightful illustrations. The style is very simple and accessible and the reader will feel that this is a well-researched and brilliantly articulated work.
Z: The Final Generation will be comforting to many readers when they learn that despite living in times threatened by nuclear and biological warfare, tyranny, corruption, and other insecurities, what is certain is the return of Jesus Christ. I found it quite interesting to read about the second coming of Jesus Christ, and the promise of resurrection where the New Testament speaks about the present bodies being brought back to life in a form that will no longer be subject to death. The author has handled this topic extensively and in a simple manner that makes it easy for readers to comprehend, and thus be more aware of their surroundings and the happenings that speak of the world’s destruction which is not that far off.
There are quotes from the Bible and the author mentions how God will send two prophets this time to prepare the world for Christ’s second coming. He also makes a note of the fact that as Revelation 11.10 implies, their words and actions will be heard and seen by everyone by means of the internet and television. ‘For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things have continued as they were from the beginning of creation’ - Peter, in 2 Peter 3: 3, 4.
In this masterpiece, the author offers compelling evidence that the world may be coming to an end and readers will be surprised at how the author weaves history into the arguments, featuring controversial information like Saint Malachy’s prophecy of the popes in AD 1140. From assessing the world population crisis, to examining environmental ruin, to loss of sustainable habitat, to dwindling natural resources and the financial crisis, the author underlines the symptoms of a decaying planet and society and links them to prophecies of the end times.
Having a solid background in philosophy and theology, there were moments I felt like denying the facts in this book, but reason told me it was futile trying to refute a reality that stared me in the face. Arnold V Page writes from inside knowledge and leaves the reader in no doubt that he knows what he is talking about. The message of this book is accompanied by great illustrations and statistics that allow readers a clear understanding of what it is all about. While this could sound like doomsday for most readers, the author offers a message of hope to humanity, arguing that the ultimate coming of Jesus in glory will be the final defeat of life over death. Z: The Final Generation will make readers question their faith and embrace the excitement of an encounter with Jesus. It’s a gift of faith, one that should be read and passed on.
