I've been a Methodist minister and an evangelical church pastor, a senior structural research engineer, a professional software developer, and the founding director of the charity Chile for Christ. Now I'm an author. You can read about my published books on this web site.

I believe the Bible and that Jesus Christ will shortly return. Where the Bible contradicts mainstream science I've explained the reasons in some of my books. I have degrees in theology and mechanical engineering, and I am a member of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining, and the Institute of Wood Science.

My interests past and present include climbing lots of mountains in a day, singing and acting in amateur musicals, playing the 'cello, and trying to find a Midsomer Murders episode that I haven't already seen. Oh! And I have a scene from Narnia in my house which can be reached only through the back of a wardrobe.

In 2019 my darling wife Ann went to be with the Lord Jesus whom she loved. I can't wait to meet her again on Resurrection Day! We have four grown-up children and three lovely grandsons. I live in High Wycombe, England.
